Influencer Marketing Campaign

The opportunity

91 North Records is a joint venture between Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India, created to celebrate the musical styles of artists with South Asian heritage and bring their music to the global stage.  

After a successful festival partnership, the 91 North team reached out to 5X to support them on an upcoming record release. The objective was to raise awareness, engage the South Asian audience across Canada, and to help drive streams plus local shares for this track. 

The 91 North team not only trusted our creative direction and marketing strategy on how to meet their objectives, but also recognized the connection we have with significant Panjabi influencers across Canada.  

The outcome

5X led and executed an effective influencer marketing campaign to support the release of ‘"I Like You" by Ikky featuring the late Soni Pabla. We chose Panjabi social media influencers and media pages to raise awareness and engagement with diasporic South Asian communities across Canada.

We developed a creative concept for these influencers to incorporate into a video, to help drive streams and local shares.
