The Islamic month of Ramadan is here and Muslims all around the world will be using the time to learn, reflect and grow. Due to the ongoing pandemic, Muslims will have to find innovative ways to connect as a community. Vancouver-based artist, Mustaali Raj has created a platform for Muslims to come together and share their personal stories through art. This month-long project builds a space for artists to fuse their spiritual and creative practices in order to visually express what this month means to them. The platforma invites artists to share their personal journey and reflections by creating a piece based on their interpretations of Indo-Arabic numerals. Individuals can share their work by using #30daysoframadan for a chance to be featured on @30daysoframadan on Instagram.
